Thoughts of August 1, 2009
So, why a blog? Why now? Well, really it's because I want to remember. Sure I could start a journal or something, but come on, really? It's 2009, let's be serious here. So rememberance is why.
I want to remember how I felt and what thoughts I had on specific days.
I want my senior year to be documented.
I want all my crazy high school ideas to be here when I need them.
I want to look back and remember.
So as I begin this journey, my journey, I want to say that today, right now at this very moment, I'm scared. Scared of the days to come, scared of being a senior, scared of what life has in store for me, scared of leaving home in a year, and scared......of admitting this to anyone. But I know that in time, all of these fears will be replaced with utter excitment and joy. As I sit here in my green and blue room, on my big bed, typing whatever comes to mind, I am reminded of Matthew 6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of it's own." The Word speaks. God speaks. He tells me not fear, not to worry, and just to trust Him. So I will.
I can't wait to see how the rest of this blogging experience, and how the rest of high school, will turn out. But I'm absolutley positive that it will blow me away.
